Ok, has anyone whose GT was ever "on hold" taken delivery yet?

If not, keep this tiopic in mind for the first person that does.

I just returned to the states and I called military car sales who I purchased my GT from. My car was on a train last week, but it had not made it to the dealership yet. I called to find out when I could expect delivery. The lady told me that all GTs that had not yet been delivered to the dealership had been recalled all the way back to Flatrock for "quality inspections". I asked what the quality inspections were for and she couldn't tell me. Has anyone else heard about this.

Mine was ordered 9/25 pull by Ford on 9/30 given a VIN 10/7 unscheduled clean, 10/14 temp hold, 10/21 schuduled build week 11/8. So it has now been removed from hold. GT with IUP.

Mine was "On Hold" for "Rework" at AAI. It was shipped Monday night to All-American Ford in Saginaw, Michigan and is in the dealership showroom until I pick it up on Saturday. There is still no accurate reason for what it was "On Hold" for in the vehicle when it showed up.

Why in the heck would you let them sit it in the showroom?????? So many things can happen to the car while in there. Scratches, dents, interior stuff, etc.... get it out of there, it's YOUR car.!!!!

Bullittman I won't get the car until before Thanksgiving but I'll drive my 300C and put the Mustang in the garage until spring.

It was a deal between the salesman and myself. There was already some damage to the area just above the drivers side taillight that happened when they unloaded it, so there are taking care of that too.
