I called the ERL line today to check my order. I just got my DORA today, 9/13/05 and figured I would call and confirm. Everything worked fine with the automatic system, however at the end the ERL (Evil Robot Lady) said my order is on "Material Hold".

Here is what I ordered:

2006 GT Premium Coupe
Black exterior
Crimson Red Interior
5 speed manual
ICAP
IUP
18" Bullitt wheels (64W)
wheel locks
active alarm

Is the reason she said it was on hold due to the late availability 64W wheels (10/3/05 Job 1) ? Do you guys know of anything else which could be delaying this order?

As you can see, I'm looking forward to my new arrival sometime (hopefully) in mid-late November.

I am positive that the wheels are holding it up. I had originally placed my order with those wheels but just got tired of waiting. I was told that delivery with those wheels would be late november or December, too long as I had been waiting since March. Figured why wait, changed to the 17's and got my car in about 6 weeks. I will switch to 18's next year but with more meat...275's vs the 235's that come with the bullits.

Thanks for your input. I agree, its most likely only the wheels, but wanted to hear other opinions.

Sounds like you are enjoying your GT... I envy you !

275's are a bit too wide for a 8.5" rim. Generally, a 9" rim is the minimum for 275.
