Ouside Buffalo NY. We generally dont get snow until the end of November and nothing heavy until end of December. Odd for it to snow at all this early much less as hard as it is. At least my kids are happy!

I'm only an hour away and i'm lucky to have no snow for now... buffalo-hamilton is a snow belt.

Hopefully I can still get another 5-6 weeks out of my car before wintertime

I just look at winter as a long 5 months to plan new mods and save money while the car is in storage.

Wow.... when I said it was snowing hard, I had no idea it would be like this. I got the car home with a couple inches of snow on it, but 5 hours later it had 2 feet on the roof! This is the earliest snow storm of this magnitude anyone remembers. The real trouble came in because the leaves had not fallen off the trees yet. The snow was so heavy on the trees (held of there by the leaves) that HUGE tree limbs started snapping and trunks were splitting down the middle. I lost power Thursday night and got it back just now. I did get a little lucky though, a real big branch missed the mustang by about a foot. Snows gone now, but there are still 300000 people without power.

While I don't envy those being hit hard by snow, you sure put this thread into perspective for us. Keep safe.

I don't mind.....

It's actually an excuse to:

1. "baby" my car
2. reduce the insurance coverage ($$$)
3. keep the mileage low
4. save for (and purchase) mods
5. anticipate the Spring (while installing the winter mods on your low mileage GT!)
6. did I mention "baby" the car. I've only had the car for a month and the wife is already jealous.
