I see so many people backing up, u-turning, etc., in the middle of the street. I just shake my ahead and drive way around them. If you missed your turn, get a clue and FIND A SAFE PLACE TO TURN AROUND or, barring that, at least LOOK WHERE YOU ARE GOING.

 

I know, especially in Houston. It's unbeleivable how stupid people are...

omg! I had a lady do that to me a few years ago while at a gas station here in phoenix. I was in my 2006 vert with my nephew and she came up telling us how we were just like this lady. I revved the crap out of the car for 30 seconds or so and told her "I just undid all the good you did this month".

So to update. Allstate Accepted liability and I'm dropping it off at the Ford Dealership in the morning. Rental and repairs will be covered. No idea what the rentals going to be lol.

 

Good to hear. I had a Mercury Milan a while back for my rental...It was actually really nice. Hopefully you'll get a nice rental, and not just the cheapest thing they have around.

 

I got a Mazda 6. Base model so it kinda sucks. I had a choice between it and a chevy malibu. Probably should have went with the malibu

Yea if it wasnt the base model I would be quite happy .The V6 Mazda 6s are really nice cars. Unfortunately this one is a 4 banger with plastic hubcaps. Since when did it become ok to put 4 cyl. in midsize sedans. The Malibu is even bigger than the Mazda and has a 4cy. with less HP.

 

Got the car back yesterday! Looks great, body shop did a great job.

 

O' jeezus, why is it that the water buffalos have such a sense of entitlement? The shop I work in backs right out into the main lane of our parking lot (dont ask me why they did that???????????) To try and control traffic we have 4 stop signs that read: "STOP for all cars entering and exiting the building" You either get people that will speed up and cut you off or you will get some fat ***** that stops the car and yells at you that they have the right of way and you had no business backing out the car like you did.

Now in order to get the proper frame of reference, the car backing out of the shop is at least 50% or more out. A clear indicator to me (I could be wrong here but when your alreadly blocking 1 lane of a 2 lane road that STOP sign and its instructions take precedence) that you need to heed the sign.
