Hit my 2007 Mustang GT on curb, paint or replace bumper?

I have wiped it down in the picture.
It's in Alloy Metallic, most places are quoting $450 for rear bumper cover surface assembly, surface, repair and refinish. Some have quoted $1000 for replacing the bumper. I'm in Canada, not sure if I should order a new bumper instead? Repaint myself?

New paint, you can take the bumper off yourself and safe a view bucks, go to the bodyshop and they can repair it. That's what I would do.

if you have the cash and want to go with a different look replace it but otherwise that should be an easy fix. Maybe around 3 too 350 for a repaint. have you tried cleaner wax on it?
