High Pithced whine

Anyone else have a high pitches whine when they are accelerating? It never does it when you gun it but when you are just in normal traffic and take off normal at the end of the gear it is high pitch squeal. You can barely hear it, but the point is is that you can hear it. HelP?!?!?!?!? :scratch:

I have the same whine noise w/ auto and V-6. I'm going to have it looked at when I do the 3000 mile oil change. I noticed the whine from day one.

Me too.....

Actually, I've heard the same kind of sound in other sports cars......and even more noticable compression whine when slowing down. I'm not a gear head, but I do think that it's normal.....

I have it too, i noticed a few days ago when i was doing like 40 and gunned it. First thought=Why the heck am i gettting supercharge whine when i dont have one.

lol i know u guys r concerned and all and people have been having slight problems and all. and when i get mine yes im gonna look for problems but it really wont bother me cuz i hyped it up soo much for myself im IN LOVE with every inch of this car. this is the 1st car im owning on my own and nothing will phase me. this will be the best car that i have. but thanks for the heads up on these things.

I got the whine too in my auto.

It only seems to happen though when the engine is cold .... once it warms up no more whine.

You ordered the exact car I have. The car is fantastic! Wouldn't change a thing (except maybe the oil pretty soon).
