Yes, it's for real except there's no digital speed readout for the 2005-2009.. just some other info. 1999- and 2010+ has the digital speed which is pretty neat. Not sure why 05-09 didn't have it. Link here:

Also, talk about reviving an old thread.. it's so old I was single and didn't have kids when it started!

Excellent post. Can't wait to try this out tomorrow morning. If it does what it says, it's going to ROCK.

On the Shaker 500, if you hold the menu button down for about 5 secs, it will display song title, artists that is playing, not all stations do this but most in my area do.

Actually, all you have to do is scroll through the menu and turn on RDS and it will do it to all stations that have the feature.

The windows will roll down with the remote key fob by pressing the unlock button twice and holding it down on the second press. It will roll down. Found this out a few years ago the hard way while running through a parking lot while it was raining.

that is correct, but only available on the 05/06(maybe) with active anti theft system. One of my favorite features, espicially when its hot outside. Anyone know anymore about the turn signal code thing?

When I bought my car a few months ago, I didn't realize at first that the previous owner had installed the sequential turn signals. More money in my pocket...

Window trick does not work on my 2006 vert.

Look at this thread for enabling the RDS radio function...

Are you talking about a Mustang or a DeLorean?

There is a thread on this on the mustangforums site. You guys get alot of cool stuff. You dont even need a tuner. There is a secret super aggressive tune already programmed in by ford. I am unsure of the sequence but it's turn ignition on and off and some gas pedal pushing to get it loaded but from what I have read it's as aggressive as a custom tune. Built by ford.

I am a carpenter. Not computer literate whatsoever. And I check these forums from my phone with the mobile app so I don't even know where to begin. Mustang forums is the name of forum and it's in the s197 section and I believe it's a sticky. Pretty long read tho so get a drink and get comfy
