Nice car! My first 'stang was a V6... and it's a Mustang II. Like they said, gotta start somewhere

Unfortunately, I don't think cheekie will be posting any more...heck, I remember my '89 GT having only 15 more HP than the current V6...the new V6 Mustangs aren't exactly slouches.

In the Muscle Car era vehicles that could get to 60MPH in less than 7 seconds were considered pretty quick!

cheekie, enjoy your new ride!

This is truly a shame. All kinds of people own and love their 'stangs. She seems like a nice girl. I hope she stays a Mustang fan.

Hey thanks for missing me :o

that dusty guy doesnt bother me. I have been busy with mod's and driving around town. Yes I am an island girl. Right now Im shopping for wheels, man the choices are overwhelming, it is fun though. I think I have narrowed it down to the look and the spec's, still working on it. Once the exterior is done I will be pick up the little items like brushed alum details.

Very nice Mustang Cheekie

I like the wheels that are on it. They're the only forged aluminum wheels offered from the factory. light and strong.

I started out with a new '04 v6 as my first car... nothing wrong with a v6 its a stang!
Any stang should be welcomed here...its a d*mn mustang forum site not like its a chevy! lol

I do not get people...even me owning a gt I get put down like it is nothing.
I can imagine owning a $200,000 car and would still be talked to like it is nothing special!!??

I will never win....

Glad you're still around ! Looking for new wheels? I think you have best ones on there now. But if you want more ideas, do a search for the thread "show us your wheels". It's a long thread with lots of pics.

Nice car!!

I rented a V6 for a week when I was on vacation. It was a totally stripped V6 auto but fun as hell. Still pulled pretty well and certainly was no slouch. It certainly has a place in the world. Would have been really fun with stick and some options like the pics above.

Think about it this way. If ford did not sell a bunch of V6 stangs. The mustang GT would cost 45K dollars easily.

Oh and Cheekie W-E-L-C-O-M-E

There's nothing wrong with the V6. I'm sure the GT500 crowd laughs at the GT crowd too
