Has anyone seen this yet? It was a Legend Lime sixer with the white striping detail. When I saw it I thought hmmm....some people waiting a long time for their cars aren't going to be happy when they see this.
Probably not that many though, cause it seems the major waits are on GTs. I can't see Hertz renting too many of those.

I would have to agree, I think that wouldn't be possible, unless they ordered the V6's also and had to wait the months before a production arrival. Just my .02.

I actually reserved a Mustang from Hertz on a recent trip to Atlanta. They would not guarantee it because I was not a Gold memeber or whatever. When I got there they didn't have one for me but I did see several in their lot. They were all V6s. Now that I have my own car I won't bother but not a bad idea for those who travel and want to experience a V6.

Our family is heading to Orlando Fla for vacation in April - it will be interesting to see what Hertz has in its fleet there. I'd expect to see convertibles as well as coupes and perhaps some GTs available. Unfortunately we need a minivan to haul the whole family so no vert for us this time!

I'd be willing to bet that Ford has deals with various rental car carriers to get them their cars fast. It is more or less an indirect way of advertising their vehicles. It seems like everytime my parents go on vacation and rent a car they come back saying "we might look into that car!"

Alas, Hertz in my neck of the woods are still using 04' Stangs. I was going to check into renting a V6 over the weekend. So much for that.

Yeah . . I'm a member of the Hertz #1 club, and I rented a 2005 Mustang V6 about 2 months ago in Tampa for 3 days.

When I dropped my wife off at the Tampa airport the other day, I saw 5 or 6 V6 ones in the Hertz zone, no verts though.

I fly to San Jose several times a month. I rent from Avis and they are right next to Hertz. Hertz has pleeeeenty of V6 Mustangs there. Avis only has about a dozen, but I get one every time.

I don't believe Hertz has any GT's at all in their fleet... guess anything is possible though.
