Frank,
Was there a window sticker addendum listing the components which make it a SE?

That's sad that the dealer has to make their own "SE". About 2k over MSRP for a sticker. Makes me sick.

Frank , do you recall what was on the w/s which made it an SE? Must be something besides just the trunk decal?

On top of W/S where the color and the year of the car and vin# is.

WOW
super
Hertz should put decals on their cars when they sell 'em.
The Hertz Special Rental Edition
Driven by #1 CLUB MEMBERS ONLY
Might be able to get $2K over MSRP.
Hertz SRE
LOL
That dealer has some *****.
Are people back there so....simple?
Actually, to clear things up....
There were only 100 of these Torch Red mustangs and the decals were on the cars directly from the factory. Once again, not all dealers are marking these cars up, just the shady ones trying to make an extra buck.
The "stampede" of cars left from Cranberry Twp, PA (2 minutes from where I used to live), traveled down 79 to 279 south, around Heinz Field (where the Steelers play), through downtown PGH, and finally to Schenley Park.
I jumped in the line right from the start (I was #101, with the aftermarket wheels, tinted windows, flowmasters, and no sticker
) and took some pictures along the way. Here are the stampede pictures
And a few from the actual Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix
EDIT: And these definitely are NOT Special Editions...at least in the way a Bullitt is.

looks like anyone can claim there car is a "special edition". Therefore I am going to get a sticker made for mine and call it
"Sonic Beauty - Special Edition"
