Are you insane? My mustang is flawless. I protect it like one of my children!

April, I have to say thank you for posting that. I have been sitting here for the last five minutes trying to decide if I was going to respond to that or not.

I don't post much, but there are those times you feel like you need to chime in.

MEN
They the ones who always wreck stuff. How do you think I got my mustang 9 months early?

Raj, sorry to hear about the boo-boo.

Kat, post it. If someone gives you grief over it, someone else will have your back. That's just the way we are.

Amen April... Gee who wrecked my 92 GT...hmmm wasn't me.

Thanks hispony, I just read and learn mostly, don't want to come off as a dumb blonde (and believe me I have those dumb blonde moments).

I'll be the first to admit there are some "lousy women drivers (I'm not one of them)", but also there are alot lousy men drivers.

Ask Ratchet1333 who the better hot rodder is (in this family anyway). I'm sure he'll be on here again tonight.

It does totally stink about Raj's car and I feel his pain. I would be one raving lunatic if something ever happened to my car.

Front bumper is $498 GT unpainted (according to my shop). Don't know about leaky stuff...how do the brakes feel? Same as before? That's the only clear liquid I know of in a car...

WHAT THE?????????????

I ordered a GT in 87 while in Korea and flew back to the US to pick it up. After getting back to the US for good in 88, Kat36 and I get married. She won't even drive my Stang when I'm in it for fear she might grind a gear and I'd get mad. Uncle Sam sends me overseas when Desert Storm kicks off and she heads home to Tulsa while I'm gone. I get back to find out little Miss Hot Rodder has been racing my Stang on the streets of Tulsa. She gives me these nice stories of shifting without the clutch to get better runs on people. Grrrrrrrr!!!!

As for the 92 GT, driving on a 4 lane divided with a 55 mph limit. A car comes out from a drive by a store without seeing us. I crank to the left so my darling wife won't be T Boned by Mr Idiot. I miss the car but take out two signs in the median. The other car took off. Over 3K of cosmetic damage to the front and sides. I, being the wonderful husband I am, do what is needed to protect my wife and what do I get? I "wrecked her car". She's lucky she's hot and built or I might get PO'd.

Ouch, i know whos NOT getting lucky tonight. lmao
Here is one for ya. Wife is busting my chops about how the vert is going to also be hers. How she is going to drive it. I mention "kill switch" and she threatens serving papers. Well this week she takes the '03 truck out and takes out the side mirror.
What does she tell my daughter? "I GUESS THIS IS WHY DADDY WONT LET ME DRIVE THE STANG"
I love it when my kid "SINGS LIKE A CANARY"
Mine mine mine. Its all about MINE!!!!

My worst dream has come true. I'm out on a business trip and my wife decides to take my 05 for the day. BIG MISTAKE, she ran over something on the freeway and she cracked up the front bumper and a clear liquid is leaking from the car. My question is what do you think the clear liquid is? Water? I thought they would use coolant. Hopefully it's just a radiator hose. I won't get to see it till tomorrow night. Any idea on how much a new bumper is going to set me back???? Argh I'm so bummed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thats why you should buy her one also. I ordered a Sonic Blue GT on 1/17/05 and bought her a Screamin Yellow V6 with the sports exterior option B) It wouldnt let me attach a picture. it says my gloabal space is exceeded but the attachment is only 508KB. Any ideas?

POA
piece of Advice:

1: your average girl couldnt give a crap about a car as long as its shiny and costs more than 70k

2: maybe this is just girls i know .. but they cant seem to locate potholes until after they run into them...potholes, people, etc =p

3: why arent your keys in a lock box? hope they are now lol

4: girls have a tendancy to make cars form seperate tiny pieces.

The girls on this board are the exception along with a few others
AGAIN theyre are exceptions so dont kill me

this is just from what i have personally seen so your mileage may vary

the average mustang owner loves his car more than himself lol unless its got mcdonalds arches for a spoiler.. then they just wanted a civic that doesnt fart then driven

Yea well........
My HUSBAND isn't allowed to drive MY mustang- so there. :P. Hes gonna get his own- and not let me drive that one.

Not all women drive like Maniacs-Whym I gonna mess up something I waited my entire life for?Besides, I am not a deranged Soccer Mom who is more inclined to drive a covered truck(suv) or glorified schoolbus(van), I drive my hot dang yellow sports car proudly- hades I am the second coolest person in the carpool line.(someone else has a H2) I treat that mustang like one of my children, it lives inside, and gets driven like its loved.

But in any case, sorry to hear about your car. That smells!

Cool

What is really crazy is this!! I race a mod-lite dirt track car and have for over 6 years now. I can honestly say (this is the truth that I'm telling, with my hand up!), I have never been the cause of any wrecks on the track, but I sure have had my race car torn up...due to men drivers!! (I am the only female in this area that runs this type of car.) Imagine that!! :drive:
