Help on ordering!

ordered a 05 Gt last week ... Now the question i have is on my order i wanted the interior upgrade without the red seats on ford web site i can build the car with that option the saleman tells me with the yellow car i have too get the red seat... Now looking at some yellow Gt's ive seen them with the satin dash with BLACK leather seats!!!! ???????????? HELP!!!!

YOur salesman is probably inputing the incorrect codes. Interior Upgrade Package (IUP, code 18G) has nothing to do with upholstery.
The Interior Color Accent Package (ICAP), code 68R, which requires the IUP 18G, is the red upholstery & inserts.
Tell him to try again....

Tommy, according to the '05 Mustang catalog, Dark Charcoal is the only seat color available with Screaming Yellow. If your salesman is charging you extra for the red, show him the color chart on page 24 and tell him to adjust the price.

Is your salesman related to mine...??? When I ordered my Satin Silver he told me that Red Leather is the only color leather that comes with that car. And then when I took pictures of Satin Silver cars with all 4 interiors, he said that they were concept vehicles.... :bang: Some salesman are complete morons, and when you show them the proof of things otherwise, they still don't get it.....

Now, as far as your salesman saying you can only get Red Leather with the Screaming Yellow is about as dumb as a salesman can get. I think alot of 5 year olds know that Red wouldn't go with Yellow......well maybe not, but you get the picture.

It sounds like he's just getting a little mixed up.
Typical of some salesmen.(not ALL of them) They know next to nothing about what they're selling.
See you can only get the red seats if you order the dark charcoal leather.
Also the only interior color available for yellow is dark charcoal. (can be cloth or leather)
That's probably why he's cunfused.
There's an order guide for the '05 in the Timeline at the top top of this page. Just look up all the codes you need and take them to him.
He'll be amazed you can even get them.
Anymore questions, everyone on here will be glad to help.
There are even some dealers/salesmen on here. maybe one of them/us can call your salesman if he still doesn't understand.
