Help. Next Mods?

Need help deciding what to do next. I was thinking about getting a supercharger but its really not the best time yet. I will continue as I originally planned and do the supercharger later.

So, my question for you all is. Whats next? If you vote other explain what other is. Thanks for the help!

I didn't put them on the list cause I have plans to get them soon. I know they sound awsome!

Gears,CAI and a tune. Then supension. Some of the mod stuff makes it(affordable) so you overlook actual performance upgrades first.

I'd say a tune if you're planning on keeping the K&N.

I say, "Always have a plan." So I would do ALL you mods, just decide what order, budget accordingly and systematically modify. Personally, I have a one year plan on modifications that sometimes get pushed back.

dude if you do hoodpins, go with the SHELBY ones for like $100 (you can get them in silver WITHOUT the logo)

I just saw them at the Silver Springs show a few weeks ago and they are hands down the best ones I have seen. They are coated so they won't rust, come with rubber gaskets, the whole deal - REALLY nice and considering them myself

I took a few pics at the show and will post so you can check them out

The LCAs... you're going to have to get them eventually might as well go ahead and get them out of the way as they're fairly inexpensive and will help out down the road.

I have a CAI, no tune or gears cause I still have a supercharger in the back of my mind. Tune, cause I'll get a good dyno tune and no gears cause I'm not 100% sure which supercharger I'll get. TS or Centri.

Yes I agree which I have done this past year and have done everything in the order I originally wanted(kinda hah).

I like them alot. I just like hood pins without the cord. If they have no cord I'd be tempted to just impulse buy them.

I voted LCA's. If you going F/I later on, then your most likely going to want them.

Get a tune, and nothing else........

Pocket the rest of your cash for a blower- all else is sub-par...... save your cash for the blower.

I just put on my D-Specs and what a difference. I also installed Steeda Comp springs with them. With Ultralites you might see more of a gain with LCAs. If I were you I’d put both on and call it a super sized mod…

I vote for shocks/struts it just seems a natural since you've aleady got the springs.

I've got the Shelby billet hood pins without the "Shelby" written on them, they are in my opinion very good quality. I oringally used them with the lanyards, but recently took them off the pins since I never leave the car anywhere that somone would take the pins out and steal them. The quality is really by far way better than any I've seen before. At first my wife hated them, shes like WTF did you do, but one night we were watching Barrett-Jackson and she saw all those 60's and 70's muscle cars with hood pins and now she tells me she really likes 'em. Go figure. They did solve the problem of my hood bouncing around like a rabbit in heat at 80+mph. I was more worried about the hood than the fuzz.

So you can take the lanyard off the hood pin? I just dont want to scratch the paint on my hood. And I think without the lanyard it looks cleaner

The pin itself has a loop that flips over onto the pin. This loop attaches on each side of the pin into two small holes that it pivots around. With very little pressure opening up the loop out of one of the holes you can slide the lanyard off the loop and bingo no more lanyard.

Your are right it looks much cleaner and I like being able to run with or without lanyard. I really don't think scratching the front edge of the hood is a problem as the lanyard cables are covered in a clear vinyl cover. I will try to get pictures after work Friday, from all angles and close up. But please don't laugh at my redneck primer gray spoiler, I'm waiting to have it repainted.
