Help! New TPS forces engine into fail safe

05 V6
car went into fail safe mode 3xs in one day
error codes: 0705 2104 2106 2111 2135
auto tech stated was Trottle Position Sensor (TPS)
got TPS from Oriley
replaced it put car into accessory mode and car went into fail safe mode with in seconds
tried to turn engine on, fail safe within seconds as well
tnought bad part so got it exchanged
new part same results
*can put old one back in and car will stay running

only thing I can think of is that the male part on the throttle is angled oriented long ways north and south and when the part is placed into the male end the TPS female part that should face outward toward front of car was facing more downward...

since the male part of the throttle could not be twisted I twisted the TPS upward when doing so a click happens inside the TPS on both sensor.

After further investigation I took a look at the installation guild in for the part and basically what I thought, may in fact be exactly the issue as the instructions state not to turn the TPS clock wise as it will cause the part not to work and to turn counter clockwise with a flat head first to put it in the correct alignment.

I'm a DIY kinda guy but I'm not the best with cars so I mostly check how to videos and forums for fixing the car but Not One mentions this = / but my fault for not looking at manual.

Getting replacement part from Orileys layer today, fingers crossed.

you needed to check the voltage on the original TPS and set it to the same reading on the new one. I did that on a GT500 TB I installed. If you do a search it's on some of the Mustangs forums.
