Help me with my gear decision...

I have a thread going now on my axle whine issues and the inability of the dealer to solve the problem: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=54025

So, they've tried three times, and I'm still left with a noticable but faint whine on decel. So, I'm trying to decide on what to do next:

1. live with it since it aint that bad.
2. take it to a different ford dealer and let them have at it. (a local mustang performance shop recommended a specific tech at a local dealer - says he's good with gearwork). If that still doesn't work, move on to #3 or #4.
3. insist Ford pay for a outside shop to give it a shot.
4. be done with ford and just have 3.73's put in at the local performance shop. If I'm gonna have whine, might as well be with upgraded gears.

Thoughts?

I'm leaning toward #2 or just straight to #4. Regarding 3.73's, are they inherently whiny? Anyone have them and have no whine?

Yes they're FRPP gears and Steeda installed them. I see you have an auto , mine's a manual and I don't know if that would make any difference ...

I think that I would go with the 3.73's. I plan on adding those later myself.
