Thanks for the nanners everybody. I've already got over 100 miles on it. Ok here's the story.
I was working a split shift today and slept in till like 9:15. I woke up with a message on my phone. He said the car came in at 8:15 and to take the day off. I get all the way down there and there it is. The car came exactly how I ordered it, thank god. I got there around 10 and there were people swarmed all over it. My salesman said he had to guard the car saying it was already sold since it came in. The dealership also received a Ford GT the night before. The dealership owner Bob Grappone was there and they were taking pictures for a newspaper ad and were using my car along with the GT and some others. I did the salesman a favor and told the dealership owner what a pleasureable experience it was, yadda yadda.
By the time the photo op was over they took it around back and cleaned it out. I didn't have time to stick around for a waxing or anything, besides they had already power washed it for the photo op and was reasonably clean. I'm going to Zaino it Saturday anyway.
Anyways when it came time to talk turkey everything went a lot better than I had expected. They didn't pressure me on the warranties or anything. They had originally quoted me 5.79% on 60 months through Citizen's Bank, so I already had the local credit union lined up at 4.5%. When it came time for the loan I mentioned I wanted to go through my own bank because I had a better rate than 5.79%. He asked me which bank and I told him and he said he was going to offer me the same loan from the same Credit Union for 4.75% (the rates had gone up after I got locked in)!!! I just took the 4.75 because I didn't feel like driving down there etc, would have taken way longer and wasn't worth the hassle for $3 a month. I was happy. I ended up getting the car out the door for $24997 plus title and doc fee. No sales tax in NH
That's about $400 under invoice. I originally got it for $200 under invoice but they forgot to put the upgraded wheels on it. I had noticed that when I got my DORA. They updated the order and apparently forgot to charge me for it.
I didn't open my mouth about it.
I finally got to leave the dealership after they ripped the plastic off and I was on my way. About a mile after I got on the highway the car started beeping like crazy at me and I couldn't figure out what it was. I look at the message center and it says "10 MILES TO EMPTY". They didn't fill it up and I had already passed 3 gas stations before I got on the highway. I was 8 miles to a gas station so I put it in 5th and did 55 to the closest gas station. I had made it. By the way I got about 3 thumbs up from other drivers before I got there. Cost me $30 to fill it :notnice: but I just ripped off $200 rims from them so I didn't complain.
I get back on the highway to work and got about 5 more thumbs up on a 20 mile drive. I drove by a high school bus and every kid on the left side of the bus literally had their faces planted to the window. When I pulled into work, there was a meeting going on with my group which faces the parking lot. The meeting promptly ended and every one of them was outside before I got out of the car. I took a few people for rides, they loved it. On the way home I passed an F150 lightning and the guy was literlly hanging out the window giving me the biggest
yet.
The car definately has a lot of power, more than I expected. The thing loves you to slam the gas. It roars like a lion on acceleration and purrs like a kitten when cruising. I can't imagine needing an aftermarket exhaust, the thing is loud enough.I'm a big fan of the blue gauges with the MYCOLOR.
Complaints about the car. I'm 6'5" and around 290 lbs and I fit fine in the seat. I don't like how my right leg presses up against the center console, but is ok if I don't slouch my legs. It will take some getting used to. Also I have size 14-15 feet and my foot can't fit well between the clutch and the left inside wall of the car. I have to lift up my leg to put my foot on the foot rest, kind of annoying. I have to say if it wasn't for the awesome styling and power for the price, I probably would have passed on the car if it was an ordinary car. That's my honest opinion. I am however willing to live with it.
I noticed the CD skipped just once. We'll see if that becomes an issue. I do however have the gas tank problem with filling it up. On pumps with vapor recovery I have to turn it upside down. I am also noticing a clicking noise from underneath the car, and the engine hesistates for a moment when it happens. It annoys the heck out of me. I notice it more with the window down and cruising a low speed. I hear like a click or hydraulic type noise and the throttle lets up for a split second. Anybody else have this problem?

Very nice color and options! Redfire is such a rich 3D color, I had a hard time but finally decided on black for me. Enjoy your stang :drive:
.... and naners for you!
PS: On your Shaker CD skip problem, there is a post somewhere here about how to check if you have the upgraded Shaker system... you press several buttons at once or something like that.
