I don't know if it's been covered here already but does Avis have a contract with Ford now? There are two v6 stangs that are AVIS rentals which are in the parking lot where I work for the past week and I have been able to get a good look at them day to day. I go onto the AVIS website and the fleet cars are all GM. Will they be switching over to Ford now? They must have or there would be these stangs with AVIS on them. I'll be calling them up to see if I can get my hand on one of those Mustangs to rent. They definitely draw lots of attention down here in Miami. Can't wait until the verts hit early next year..

 

I've heard Hertz had them too, but that would be expected I guess.

Avis has had Mustang coupes and verts for years. I have rented them several time, also from Budget.

 

I'm going to rent one from Budget, hopefully next week. They have 5 at my nearby location, I have a friend that works the returns booth there and he's going to let me know when the next one is available. All of them are V6, of course, but I can make V8 motor noises and pretend, I guess.
