I called customer service to find out where my car is. They told me they didn't have access to that information, and could not tell me who would have that type of info.

Well thats BS there, because customer service has told me my car status was shipped as of october 2nd.

Brad, I want to talk to someone directly about my car, as a customer of Ford. I'm deeply disturbed by the fact that neither me nor my dealer can talk to anyone regarding the whereabouts of it, or as to why it was held in the first place, and I want to express that to someone higher up. I deserve to know where my car is and what the problem was with it before I put any more money down on it, IMO.

I had to call cust serv several times to get the right person "willing" to give me some info. I just told them that I couldn't get any info from my dealer and presto she gave me all kinds of good details. Kenp gave me the number and he had the same results I got. Unfortunately I didn't save the number.

Yeah, I've had both experiences with Ford Customer Service.
The first two times, the ladies were real nice. The first one gave me the
receipt date. The second one gave me the serialize date.
The next two times stinked. They were both dudes and they both
basically said they don't have info on orders and that I should ask my dealer. My dealer still doesn't know the receipt date or the serialize date.
I guess I shoulda asked for a direct number for one of the first two gals.

Good Luck to all of you waiting on your cars. The car is worth the wait though. I know your patience is running thin.
