Have any '05/'06 colors reached immortality?

OK, we've all had a lot of fun with the Tungsten/Vista Blue color comparisons. Let's take it to the next level. Being 48 years old this October, I remember very well the 'Grabber' colors of the 1970's.
When someone says to me, 'they had a 1970 Boss 302'... before the person even tells me what color it was, I already have an image in my mind. For me that color is Grabber Orange. Every time, without delay. The color is 'immortal'.
To date, there are 12 different colors from the factory for the new 'Stangs... but do any of the colors strike you as 'forever cool'? In other words, when someone tells you of a 2005/2006 Mustang in 2030... sure, a smile will come to your face. But when you see the image of these cars in your mind, before your friend mentions the color, will one specific color pop into your head as your noodle completes the visualization?
Or have no colors achieved this status... but you believe one of the '07/'08/SE colors will?

Really, I think nowadays, only the special editions (with limited-edition colors) would have a chance of reaching that status.
Too many colors are shared with too many other vehicles (Explorer, Fusion, Five Hundred, etc.) to really make a bold statement.
I'd really like to see Ford start offering at least one "bold" color each model year - a color that's only available on the Mustang.
Whether it's Competition Orange, a "grabber" throwback color, whatever... some sort of "statement" color. Dodge is doing something similar with the Charger Daytona R/T (offered in Top Banana and Go ManGo! right now, with more throwback 70s colors to come).
Right now, I don't think the 05 or 06 Mustang has one. It looks great in the colors it's offered in, but I don't see any reaching any sort of "legendary" status.

I know of windveil blue on the Taurus, not sure about Legend Lime, I think it's only on the Mustang.
I would love to see Grabber Orange on the S197, as a throwback color. I already have my black which is timeless since the Model T age

I think legend lime is one of those colors. There is only one other car being manufactured right now that I know of that has a color anywhere near it (VW Bug). It's the only color offered on the mustang that is exclusive to the mustang, and it being a retro color from '67-'69 (was Lime Gold back then) perfectly compliments the retro styling of the car. It is a very bold, attention-getting color. I think it meets all the criteria for being a legendary color. heck, it already is. The name says it all: LEGEND lime.

Anyone know when there is going to be a purple colored Mustang? My sister loves the new Mustangs and would love a V6 Convertible but her absolute favorite color is purple? Be great to know when they would make them......

I don't think LL will achieve that status of a Grabber Orange or Plum Crazy Purple.

My wife made a suggestion (in so many words) that they should bring back emberglow from the first gen. That was a cool color. I think they went overboard when they made the interior match it, but the exterior was cool. In the least, a nice copper color (perhaps on the vibrant orange side) would be cool.
I can't think of colors that would be strong enough to stand out these days. The grabber colors are my favorites of the mustangs. Other than that, I can't think of other colors (besides the traditional red, black, and white) that would possibly do the trick. I think those colors on those specific cars are special. It's deeper than a color to me, I suppose.
Favorite color - grabber blue - that really pretty powder blue with the black trim and appointments. Bad behind car, gentle color... makes you say "What?"

Legend Lime and Windveil Blue are offered on other Ford vehicles?

Didn't the Escape come in a color very similar to LL a few years back? For me, the Titanium show car with the Satin Silver stripes is immortal.
