Hate to be this guy
Found this photo from the bad storm we had here on Wednesday, hope it wasn't anybody here. It appears to be a GT. Almost got my car stuck in worse.

Where on LI are you from? In my town we had the cat 1 tornado come through. I was out of state and all I could think about was my car in the driveway. Thankfully all was good at ym house.

As far as insurance:
It's a covered loss unless she intentionally drove into the water intending to cause the damage. If she states "but I thought I could make it through" then it's covered.
Anywho- based on that photo and the assumtion that it's freshwater - it's not a new mustang. It's likely a new motor, or at least shortblock, and most of the electronics below the dash. Either way - that's a bad day.

The South Fork. The storm was pretty crazy. I don't think I've ever seen one like that on Long Island before, especially so early in the morning. I got woken up by my girlfriend telling me about the tornado and hopped right up. Then I decided to go ahead and try to get to work on time, at the height of it, and like I said before, I almost got my car stuck in worse. Considering the amount of damage and other problems that storm caused in only about an hour, I REALLY hope that we don't get a hurricane. It was a crazy morning...

They really need to get some gas I guess!!!
Maybe they had to get to THAT gas station because the stang was running low on gas and it is the only gas station in town that offers 93 octane for there Bamachips / Brenspeed tune haha
