I was extremely busy at work today (had a little minor surgery weds and missed 2 days) trying to get caught up. Got home tonight, put the kids to bed, signed on and found Ford announced another price increase on most Fords and Lincolns. I e-mailed the new price list, level 555 to Brad. I'm sure he'll get it posted soon.
I'll try to attach it.

If you've already placed your order, you're locked in at that price. The increase will only affect new orders

Glad I placed my order in September, phew!
Glad I placed my order in September, phew!
It's not often you hear people say that!
Karpro:
Is there some sort of guarantee that my dealer will not ask the new prices on a car I ordered last year?
Will this effect X-plan pricing?
Also my dealer keeps avoiding the X-plan pricing issue, saying that he will not get the final price until the car is on his lot. Is that true? I know "about" what the car should cost, but I don't have any type of paperwork to prove it (other than my DORA which only states invoice).
Thanks for any help.
Man, this really makes my GT premium, IUP, Red Leather, and side airbags look like a steal at just under $28k that I bought it at. /me loves x-plan.
With the increase in prices, I would really consider holding off for a vert.

I bet he is going to try to pull something on you. Either saying that "Oh, you can't get X-plan on this car anymore, do you still want it", or "The price went up $5xx, you are going to have to pay the increase since you did not take delivery before they went up". They know it will be hard to resist once the car is on the lot, and you will either take it for a higher cost, or just leave it so they can sell it as MSRP. To them, its a win-win situation. You need to go talk to them before the car comes in to get all the pricing worked out exactly.
In summary, he DEFINETALLY has the price right now, he just doesn't want to discuss it because he wants to jack it up at the last minute.
