Has to sound good

Yesterday I was at a stop light and this dude comes up next to me in a black stang (mine is Vista blue w White stripes). This guy has the sweetest sounding car when he revved it. Me yelled out the name but I didnt catch it. Can anyone guess what it was so I can go research it? thanks!

I hope your joking? "Good sounding" is totally subjective. What I may like you might dislike so to ask us what exhaust set up he had would be impossible.

Hopefully you'll run into him at another stop light. Other then that, good luck with that.

ya I know sorry. I am from Seattle. This guy had a weird airbrushed skull design on the back between the lights. It was cool. The tips were Chrome. What are some of the brands out there? If someone says it, i'll remember it.

Normally I would agree but in this case, it was so amazing (especially compared to stock). A person would have to be a moron not to melt at that sound.... (of course I am kidding). It was amazing though....

Check the exhaust thread in the GT Performance section for clips of most aftermarket exhausts. Of course I think my FRPP's sound the best but it is def. subjective.

I have GTA's and I think they are one of the best sounding mufflers around. No drone or trumpteting. Although some would disagree and say stingers are best.

Then again its all a matter of opinion.

Glad you found the ones you we're interested in

there's about 1,000 different possible combos for setups... it'd be pretty hard to guess without hearing it

I never liked the Flowmasters on the S197. Sounded... bland, somehow. I actually like the stock GT manual mufflers better.

So far GTAs are my favorite.

I second what ShowGT said for set up. That exhaust is like the little blue pill.
