Don't know, but it couldn't come soon enough. Ford pulls orders on Thursdays; I missed another one this past week...still clean and unscheduled as of 1/13. :bang:

Wow, I guess I shouldn't **** and moan too much, then. I ordered my car on 11/21/04. When I called the dealership yesterday and spoke with the woman who does the ordering, she told me 2 others in front of me and then mine will be built (approx. 3 weeks from now). What really supprised me was when she told me the delivery date would be 8 weeks from the build date. That sounded a little long, so I did just a general poll while looking through the posts, and it looks like people received their cars about 1-2 weeks after build date, even in California. Anyone knowledgable have any thoughts on this?

Can't recall anyone listing February build dates but may have missed something. IMO, appears alot of 1/24 week builds which are going to end up in Feb.

My dealer keeps telling me I'll have a Feb build with March delivery. I'm hoping they are right. Not sure how they know that info though.

per the #%$@ secret phone line, its says "as of Jan 27th, your vehicle is locked in for production week of Jan 24th."

I dont understand why the advanced "as of" date but appears that I will be getting a ride soon.

Well I ordered mine 11/8/2005. Kept calling dealer line on order status and finally a change. It said that the car had been serialized, which im guessing is its VIN make up, and said waiting to be scheduled. A few days later it said car is scheduled to be built week of 2/14/2005. Finally, but now I am assuming it will take a couple of weeks for delivery if all goes well. I ordered a GT Deluxe, with auto, nice rims, no iup, active alarm, Amazing I guess they like building premiums quicker than the cheaper. Anyway does anyone know what the average delivery time it takes after being built and taken to showroom. Just glad to finally have some solid answers! I had been told nothing by dealer, dealer still hasnt called to say anything, found out with the help of you all!

Don't call them too much as the Ford Dealears that have orders placed getan updated once a week , and I have called the dealer number but it doesnot work right mistakes the Dealers firt number A as an 8 so it can't find it , so I kept E-mailing Ford Customer Service and they would me rather just bug the Dealer , So I just need to wait it out ? I was thinking of Praying more or Selling what-ever works he,he.

All dates seem to vary I had just called my sales person after my post and was told that a gent that bought two weeks before me so Dec 1/04 has just got a vin so this seems to be a standard with the delay issue of not having enough parts, so it would seem like an 8-10 week until anything could be heard on ones order and if you are sooner Well YOU ARE LUCKY :-)

That's understandable it would hear it as an 8, you're supposed to drop the letter. They only want numbers.

It must be differnt in Canada as the auto attendant does ask for the Five digits and the first being that of a letter ? ah I'm just going to wait for that beautiful phone call Its Here How about you Tom have you heard anything yet you should be close as there was a fellow that place just about Dec 1 and rec a Vin # this week and in looking at My Dealers order sheet It seemed to follow the pattern , well its 5:00 am here Off to work.

Yep, it's different in Canada then I got an email from my dealer yesterday telling me not to expect the car until April or May at the earliest. This is due to the IUP shortage of course. It makes it easier since there is snow on the ground and sub zero temps here. Come nice driving weather if it isn't here I'll be going crazy.
