We having big party cruise-in for Mustang saturday in Cincinnati,OH at Breechmont Ave Hooters. over 70 Mustangs are coming if live in tri-state area come on down!
Happy, Happy Birthday!! I participated in that initial buying frenzy. At the time I lived in Milpitas, CA. just north of San Jose. One of the Mustang assembly plants was located there. I ordered my '65 2+2 Fastback from Sunnyvale Ford with all the options (except the H.P solid lifter engine) and the window sticker came to a grand total of $3,521.23. I really loved that car. My new one reminds me of it although it is SO much better in every way.

I think my car at the time was a coral and white Nash Metropolitan! At least it was a stick shift (but dash mounted).
