Hankook V12 Evo vs Nitto NT555

So I'm up for new tires, and I was mostly happy with my NT555's that are wearing out. My only gripe was they were a little prone to hydroplaning and terrible in occasional snow we get in Virginia. I thought about getting them again, but I see Tirerack has the Hankook V12's on closeout for 122 bucks a tire (255/45/18).

Just wondering if that's too good to pass up, or not worth it? I'm using my GT as a DD and some occasional hard driving, but not tracking/autocrossing it at all. Or is there some other tire I should be considering? I can't afford Pilot Sports, I'm trying to keep this under 700 bucks if possible, since I'm trying to do a brake upgrade at the same time.

I have tried Conti's ,Kumho, Nitto's, Goodyear and Hankook's on my Mustang, BMW Z3 and SVT Focus and the HanKook's are the best all around tires!!

I am buying NOTHING BUT HANKOOK"S FROM NOW ON!!

I'm digging my Hankooks but have not tried them in colder weather. They are more or less a summer tire.

I know those tires are on sale but the best Hanhook's are the R3S ones. They are a summer only tire and work well in the hot weather, a 200 treadwear.

I have the Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2 all seasons on mine and can't be happier with them! This is the 3rd set of tires and the first two were the stock Pirellis, the Hankooks are a better ride with the 18's I have on the car now.

I have V12's on my daily driver Subaru, great warm weather traction, ok spring/fall, good in rain not that noisy. NOT a snow tire, we got a surprise dusting, I figured it'd be fine getting home I know how drive in snow, take it easy, etc. If I even looked at the brake pedal my abs was on, my car wouldn't make it up a shallow hill at bottom of my driveway (with awd), so I parked on the hill where it stopped. I started walking up driveway, the car started sliding down the hill!
