I don't know if it's related to the new gas tank as they have a TSB out about lights coming on with no drivability issues (in other words the car is running fine). If I remember right all they have to do is reprogram a computer in the car.
The 'Service Engine Light' came on in my 05 Mustang GT at around 3200 miles earlier this month, took it in on Saturday and they fixed it in about two hours from the time I arrived.
What's strange with my car is that the light came on again, stayed on for a few days then turned off (this was AFTER I had the computer reprogrammed).
