I believe that motor trend estimated the GT to have a 5.0 0-60 and 13.9 @ 104 in the 1/4. But these are just estimates, who knows what she will be capable of.

Fast and dang fast! Either way, better than my 95. But since I don't go to the track or street race, it's all good to me.

If the 3 valve V8 in the GT is as poor of a performer as the 3 valve in the F150, we are in trouble.

The 3v Trintron is a good performer. It's tuned for towing not sport. Plus the F-150 is extremely heavy, even for a pick up.

Everything we've heard says the new powerplant is awesome.

My guesses: 0-60 low 7's with V6 manual, mid 7's with V6 auto, low 5's with GT manual, and mid 5's with GT auto. It's hard to be any more precise than that, since so many things have changed.

According to my soarse:

0-60 1.2 sec
0-100 2.4 sec

top sped: 240 mph

It will beet ne and evry car, unless it is Japanese because they have really good superior teknology. They are really reliable. That makes them cool. Ok? Good.

Note: In case you missed it, that was a copy and paste from a ricer.

Its a TRUCK engine, strap a ram hemi to an F-150 hitch to hitch and the F-series will tow it backwards every time. Its not meant to race. If the 6.2 becomes a reality, there will not be a single reason for one person on the planet to purchase a Nissan, GM, or Dodge truck ever again.

I still say 5 flat to 60, with 13.3's in the quarter with the long-winded 3v.

If it traps 104, then let me get my hands on one of those babies and she'll see low 13's all day long
