Gt mpg results?

I did several searches and found nothing. I am sure its here some where.

I was wondering what kind of mpg's your all getting. Do you have an auto or stick and what gears are you running. I am very close to buying an 06 5 speed gt prem and was wondering what the real world numbers are. Thank-you in advance.

I've got a stock GT with a 5spd. I have a lot of traffic around where I live so I spend a lot either at lights or doing the stop and go on the freeway. I average about 15.5 mpg on a tank. I can get as much as 23 on a tank of all freeway driving but the around town pulls it back down to 15 or so pretty fast.

I have an '06 GT with 18" wheels, manual. I drive in a lot of traffic. my average is around 16.5, but I only have 2800 miles on it and don't know if that has anything to do with it. I use 87 octane and am bone stock. I asked people what they were getting, and some say they do considerably better because of a 93 octane tune. They spend more on the premium fuel, but get way better mileage, so they actually come out ahead.
I have not had any road trips to guage highway mileage.... so I don't know how well I'd do in that arena. My other problem.... I have a really hard time keeping my foot out of it. I think that's the biggest contributer. But... I didn't buy the car for it's world renouned fuel mileage.

I have a stock 06 GT with the manual. I average 20.3 mpg, no freeway driving to speak of, but a two lane back and forth to work. 70 in the morning, but stop and go to about 55 in the evening.

'06 GT 5-Speed - CDC Shaker Hood Scoop - Flowmaster Exhaust Only modifications that could even remotely affect MPG performance. Running 87 Octane
City Driving A/C On 15-16
City Driving A/C Off 16-18
Highway Driving A/C On 25-26
Highway Driving A/C Off 26-28
Again this is VERY dependent on how heavy your foot is.

I have an 06 Gt vert, auto trans. Back and forth to work, zooming around the local streets, I can get almost 20 MPG. On a trip up the Interstate I averaged 25 MPG with the top up and 24 MPG topless. I'll take the 1 MPG hit if the weather's nice and drop the top every time.

Just over 700 miles on my '07 GT Premium manual. Most of my driving is back and forth to work which is about 7 miles each way with 4 stopsigns & 5 stoplights. I'm averaging 19.1 by the IUP computer.

1000 miles on my 07 GT auto. I normally set the cruise at 75 MPH on the highway and I get roughly 20 MPG according to the in-dash computer caculations.

This is EXACTLY what I get in my bone stock '07 GT w/ manual 5 spd and 18" polished bullitts. I got 19 city ONCE but I never shifted over 2200 rpms. Old ladies were honking at me to get my butt in gear. I just smiled and waved as they sped up to the next light where I pulled up in my grabber orange mo'sheen and just smiled at 'em. They like that. No really. They do.

I have an 05 GT, manual tranny, 18" wheels, lead foot and a GMS T-Body. I average about 18-19 mpg and that is nearly all city driving.

I've been getting mid 14's on my stock '07 with manual trans and 18" wheels. I've been running AC full blast most of the time, and it's all city driving. Once in a while I can turn the AC off, and cruise for a little bit, and actually watch the average go up over 15.

Soon as the heat goes away here, I should be getting better mileage.

I have had a low of 23 and a high of 26 MPG. Mixed driving-75% highway with a speed of 65-70MPH. This is an auto. I am not disappointed considering the fun factor. I do not have a lead foot.

Most of my driving is short distance and around town. It hops between 15.8 and 16.2 MPG. I love when people ask me about gas mileage on this car. Generally my answer is "if you're concerned about gas mileage, don't buy this car".

Last Saturday I drove 150 miles on I 95 and the display read almost 25 mpg. I got gas just off the highway and reset the display. I did use a/c the whole time and didn't set the cruise because the trafiic was a little heavy. I think it would be even better with no a/c and the cruise set.

I drive almost only city driving with tons of traffic; performance mods include: intake, headers, no mufflers, 4.10 gears, 91 tune and drive with a very heavy foot, when I first got the car I was averaging about 18.5mpg stock, intake and muffler delete improved it a bit, then added headers and retune to 91 octance with increased throttle response and I got 15.5mpg (if I ease off the throttle I get over 16mpg: around 16.2-16.3), just added the gears and it hasnt changed. Recently I drove to Las Vegas and back and I averaged 20-21mpg during the trip (freeway but extreme heat, 109 at night 120 during the day)
