GT Dark Charcoal cloth pictures?
Still bouncing around on what options I want. Initial thought is leather, but the cloth is cheaper and more comfortable in summer heat (especially since I plan to order black or alloy exterior over a dark charcoal interior). I haven't really seen any pictures of a cloth dark charcoal interior on a GT, can anyone help? I tried a search but it mostly kicks out the new cloth top for the verts.

Also, cloth holds you in the seat better and doesn't get those wrinkles that leather seats get...especially cheap leather like Ford uses. Those were my top 2 reasons for getting cloth. Price or temperature had nothing to do with my decision.

Get the Crimson Red upgrade... you have to order the dark charcoal interior first (which you want anyway) to get the Crimson Red seats. Would look awesome in a black car! Here it is in white:

Never had a problem with any of my Ford leather. Just keep it conditioned every once in awhile and it stays looking great! Plus, it's alot easier to clean than cloth.

I was sort of considering getting the cloth seats and eventually getting the Mach 1 style covers from mustangupholstery.com
I find it funny that its all interior things that I can't decide on, which normally isn't a major concern for Mustang buyers, but the S197 has so many different options interior wise.
Planned car is 07GT black or alloy (need to see alloy in person) on dark charcoal. Base wheels (bullit), 5 spd manual, spoiler delete, security upgrade. Forgot to add the 3.55 L/S
There are quite a few interior options I like, but once you add them up it's like 2g's spent on the interior of a Mustang. (Leather, IUP, premier trim)
2007 MSRP/Invoice
(Deluxe coupe)
$695/605 leather
$460/400 IUP
$1060/923 premier (must add shaker 500)
$2215/1928 total interior upgrades on Deluxe
OR (Premium coupe)
$1180/1063 Upgrade to premium but includes leather and Shaker 500
$460/400 IUP
$395/344
$2035/1807 total interior upgrades on premium plus extra cost of premium.
Bahhh don't mind me, I'm just doing this in my head

The IUP is worth the extra money for the nicer dash, interior panels, steering wheel, extra gauges, etc. I'd choose it over the security package if cost is a factor.
If I order a car, I'm going with the deluxe pakage with the fabric interior, the 18" Fan Blade wheels, auto, and the IUP only. The fabric seats are made out of a durable material, and will retain their new look longer than the leather.

Oops forgot to list the 3.55 L/S option.
Basically the only "must have" options I need are the 3.55 L/S and the security upgrade. My area is sort of sketchy, plus I spend time in other cities, factory installed peace of mind is good in my book.
Guess I'll keep fighting out the other options in my head until I actually order (stupid to order now and get it just in time for snow).

Price was no object, but I have been burned by leather in the summer.

Yep. 07's the 3.55's and the limited slips are both OPTIONS. So keep this in mind.
The dark charcoal with the IUP on an alloy or black car is great looking. Don't get the red in my opinion. I never liked black cars with red interiors. Always reminded me of some guy in a midlife crisis driving a vette with a similiar color scheme.

I'm sure it's a setting somewhere, but I have searched the help and the FAQ and just poked around hoping to find it, but I can't.

Go into your "User CP". Link's at the top of the page.
Go down to "Thread Display Options".
Check the "Show Signatures" box.
If that doesn't work, here's my sig:

I am still glad that I ordered my stang with the cloth interior. I also like how it has little mustang emblems as well.
