Only one month into owning my new baby, I walk out of the store to find my rear bumper:
I even parked well away from everyone when i went in. THere was no one in the spot behind me when i left and I checked all the cars around to see if they had a matching scuff, but no avail. Someone must have hit it then left before i came out.
Dammit could've at least left a note or something. (Yeah, right)
Probably have to have the whole bumper repainted now. That's it. I am never parking on the street again. I'ill walk a mile if I have to to leave it.

Sorry to see you boo boo.
My wish in life is to be able to electrafy (sp) my car so that when I turn it on it will fry anyone or anything that touches it. i think that would solve alot of problems we have today (hit & runs and theft)

Man that pisses me off!!! I am really sorry. I dont understand people. What is this world coming to? I bet the boss above us is really disapointed in most of us. Sad...Sad....situation.

I feel your Pain :bang: Same story different car..at least they waited six months to smack mine.. Just got mine back yesterday after six days at the body shop..those kind of people just make me still have to wait a couple of weeks to put the stripes back on

I would say that they will be replacing the whole bumper cover.. They had to on mine..Mine was bowwed on the driver side right by the refecter..Total cost was 736.00 before the cost of replacing the stripes... :bang:

Sorry about your bumper...I too feel your pain. I had my new baby for less than a month and a semi truck "bumped" into me, totally destroyed the rear bumper. I had it replaced. Four days after I got the car back from the body shop some kid in a van hit my new bumper and I had to have it repainted. Be sure and use a good body shop. If they have to repaint the whole bumper, make sure they remove the bumper from the car before they paint it. The bumper should be painted OFF the car. Good Luck to you!

I fell your pain on this one Scott ...my car was involved in a hit and run as well this may 23rd ...parked at the end of the lot and took my mom in for dinner at this nice restaraunt when I came back out the back passenger rear bumper was pushed in ...in the corner Got a hold of the head person of the restaraunt and asked if they had vidio cameras over the parking lot (no) .Asked her if she would mind going out to look at the car and to be a witness for after the fact and she did 
left my name there incase there was a change of heart from the hit ands run driver and what number to call me at .
Now the insurance company is giving me a new bumper because the car is new ( the old one is dented in the corner) and is getting a repaint for the new one .The dealership is doing the work and going to fix all the missing parts and T.S.B.'s that it needs at the same time now ...there even going to give me a loaner hopefully I will see the car in a week and there going to put the molded mudflaps on for me when they put the bumper on.

in the course of a week I had two seperate cars wipe up some kind of metal strip, junk at my stang the last one left 6 neat gouges onthe drivers front fender....
stinks, that our cars seem to be such a magnet, just look at how many of our members have been in accidents already or some sort of damage.
just amazes me

Thing is that I had my 96 Cutlass for 9 years and not a scratch. Not from me, not from some jerk, not from anything. I get my pony and on the 30'th day i have it....
