I found this informative guide on the web, broke it down into pages, and put it up on my website for all to see.

http://stopfornothing.com/2005mustang/index.php

For instance, did you know that the only difference between GT Deluxe and GT Premium was the leather and the Shaker 500? I thought there was more.

See page 4 for that comparison chart.

Ya WBstangGT but not everyone has a car yet to have the owners manual. Nice find.

It's good because it's a dealer document so it gives you another perspective. Where else can you get a list of competing vehicles and their slogans...

Also, I like to know what the dealer is looking at when I'm on the phone so that I can see if he really knows what he's talking about or if he's just reading a script.

That looks like a copy of the salesperson's source book that Ford publishes each year. According to alot of your experiences, seems like most of us never actually look at it, lol.

Thanks - Would have loved to have looked at it while I was waiting for my car.........I am sure others would enjoy the read.
Of course, once you get the car ........who has time to read anything.

That's exactly why I ordered a deluxe.
I hate leather so all I had to do was add the Shaker 500.
Wow! I just checked prices and compared a premium to a deluxe with leather and a shaker and the difference is $180! Back when I ordered my car it was $30!

Speaking of documents, does anyone have an idea of the gear ratios in the tranny for the 05 mustang?

I noticed in my driving that it isn't really geared for the top end. I wanted to stack up the ratios against some other cars just to kill curiosity.

This is a joke Right? How fasr you want to go? 66 and others have been up to 140. Maybe one of your plug wires fell off or is it a 6 banger because you are not ROLLING ON
