Grabber Orange Sweeps the S197 Classes

Chris Byrne (CelticNut) and I attended the annual April Mustangs Plus car show yesterday in Stockton, CA. It was a beautiful clear day in the high 80's with 166 cars showing and hundreds of people walking around. When it came time to announce the awards both Chris and I were surprised at the results...

Chris took best in class for 05-07 coupes and I took best in class for 05-07 convertibles! Here's a couple of pics:

Our next show is this coming Sunday at the Sacramento Raceway here in CA. This one should be a blast as well!

That's great, congrats!!! What is the orange you have on your light bar, did you get it that way or is it something you did yourself?

Congrats! Cars look like winners I was thinking of driving down but shop had my car all week for the firewall repaint. BTW, just curious: what was the turnout? How many S197s decided to entry the show?

It's actually a two-tone leather wrapped Classic Design Concepts light bar purchased through MRT-Direct. MRT purchases them "raw" from CDC and then wraps then two-tone to match the exterior of the car. You can find them here at http://www.mrt-direct.com/.

If you'd like to see a couple of other pics of one on my car you can check them out at http://www.grabberorange.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=868.

The shop owner said that there were 166 cars showing. I'd have to say that there were about 25-30 S197's there.
