It looks like a beefed up 6er from the outside. For something like this, I would expect a little more. It seems a bit awkward to me.

If that's the best they can do for the next generation Mustang then Ford really *is* in serious trouble.

Let's hope that ScreamingGT is correct and it's just some dude's V6 parked randomly in Detroit somewhere...

Ford wouldn't bother putting stripes, a scoop, and wheels on a test mule, would they? If the mechanics were the whole point, the appearance of a prototype Boss would probably not be any different than a stock GT. That car is just someone's spruced up V6.

Here we go again with the righteous indignity Here, let me save you all the trouble of another 10,000 page thread.
  • "Another boring special edition!"
  • "Ford screws up again! No 10,000 hp upgrade!"
  • "Camaro and Challenger will destroy us all!"
  • "Grumble Grumble, dealer markups!
  • "Bold Moves huh?"
  • "No wonder Ford is in serious trouble!"
  • "**** you Ford! I'll never buy a Ford again!"
  • "Another sticker and body kit special edition!"

Geez, it's just a test mule! Who knows what's going on under the skin...

Those rims are right out of the Ford catalog, we sold an 07 with those yesterday. They will be the forged pollished 18's for the v6 as an option in 08. The mufflers are incorrectly described as GTA's as well. Its just some tinker-toy, its not a prototype. Probably something for the accessories catalog they threw together to try a few parts on. If it was something really special, it wouldnt just be driving around like that. I hope this thread doesn't end up like the one with the red car that simply had another grille on it. Maybe FRPP is going to sell a V6 dual conversion kit, they would need different mufflers because the standard practice of doing two GT mufflers doesn't have enough 'zip'. We've put a few magnaflow and apc V6 specific dual conversions on and it sounds much better.

I actually like those wheels now that I see them on a Stang. I didn't know if I would like them or not.

Haha, yeah that definitely looks like a Chevy Colorado beside it. Whatever "it" may be...
