I don't think anybody here would have pocketed the Geico check though. It's more about the car than the money.

Looks awesome Brad. You got any pics of the whole car. I wanna see that hood scoop too!
Thanks for the kind words! I agree, the DieHard Mustang Entusiasts we have on this site would have got it fixed.

I don't have any good full car shots with the hood scoop, I'll have to get some.

I do love the mineral grey with black stripes. Very nice Brad. And the bumper is a defininte plus. Sorry you had to get wrecked to get it, but I really do love it.

Not sure what paint system they used. The guy came out with 8 different TK/Mineral Grey samples, and checked the VIN number. The system he used recommended a color that matched a number in my VIN, and sure enough, it worked out pretty good.

Thanks!! I appreciate it. I guess when life hands you lemons, you make lemonaide. Then again, I would prefer to be handed barley, malt, hops, and water, so I can make beer.

I hadn't seen the end result with the new rear bumper cover. It turned out really nice. Good choice.

BTW, great hood scoop too ~

Yes, it is nice. And how long did this hang on your garage wall?

Where did you end up getting the GT/CS kit? And who did the work? I am in Chesapeake and have been thinking about the GT/CS for a while now. I was going to get one from KC when I lived in WV he said there was a warehouse 15 minutes from me and I could have picked it up and had no shipping cost.

Going to do the same thing. Got rear ended and talked to KC about getting a CS bumper cover shipped to the warehouse in Atlanta to pick up. Just got to call and order it from him.

I had the body shop order the kit from their own supplier, I just had to make sure they ordered the accessory kit which is $100 less than the replacement part, but it's the same thing. The shop was MiCar Collision Center in Chesapeake, they did the painting and I saved a hundred bucks by installing it myself. The paint match is perfect, which is great and hard to do on Mineral Grey. But they left a few marks on the surface, looks like white specs, but barely noticeable. And the guy ripped one of my mounting tabs in half when removing the masking tape, and he knew it, and didn't say anything about it. I was standing there to pick up the piece and he started to remove the tape, but when he saw he ripped one of the mounting tabs, he said, "oh, you can just do this when you get home". So if you take work there, do a CLOSE inspection of the work before you pay/take it home. There was still enough of the tab to do it's job and the white specs are very low so you almost have to lay on the ground to see them. And yes, the good thing about having the shop order it for me is no shipping.

Sorry you got rear ended, but getting the GT/CS rear bumper makes it all better!

That's what I told my wife! It was a good excuse to get a GT/CS bumper.
