Yes just got off the phone with my sales guy. He gave me good news...

My car is schedule for the week of April 4th 2005 hopefully not on a Friday or Monday speaking from experience working in a Ford Assembly Plant when I was younger.

I have my Vin# and Build Date.

You should I don't know your dealers allocation but mine dealer is really good. Good luck I hope you recieve good news. Man I am so excited my hands are shaking.

I don't know their exact allocation. They said they have 3 ahead of me (don't know if they are V6 or GT

). But if they are all GT's I'd have to guess I got pulled if there are 1 or 2 V6's ahead of me I probably will get pulled next week.

MacKenzie is probably the 3rd or 4th largest in the area... I'd have to guess they get 2 to 3 per cycle.

My sales guy said he has GT orders placed well before me and have not gotten a schedule built date. I feel sorry for GT orders because of the higher demand and lower production percentage then the V6s. I was expecting my car to be built at the end of April and I get it in May, but I guess uping production helped.

Sounds like you should get it built if not the week of April 4th then the following week.

Congratulations! I got a build date week too! Just this morning, I called the ERL and she told me "this unit is scheduled to be built week of April 11th."

My birthday is April 8th, and I couldn't ask for a better present!

Looks like this is the week for the V6er's on the board.. I'm still about 2 hours out from lunch

I'm guessing I'll get an April 18/11th build date and if not then the following week.

it looks like everything is picking up. im finally able to start the REAL WAIT now. especially after the car is built and the status changes and its being shipped. im gonna be dying. but hey guys who r waiting im telling u its worth it. when u find out the news ur gonna freak like i did haha

Me too. I called back right away, just to make sure I heard it right and entered all of the information correctly. I've heard about build dates being pushed back, and I'm prepared for that if it happens, but I'm just glad that I got pulled. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get the Legend Lime!

I have a build week of April 4 for my GT too! Only problem is the new GT500. I may wait for it. Of course, the dealer doesn't care either way, since the Mustang GT will likely sell for sticker price if I don't take it.
