Well, I finally got the call today that my new 08 was in!

Just a few pics to start off. I'll add a few more later....

I was hoping to get the car Friday, but Ford just started a new $500 factory incentive today, so I spent less then I thought I would have to!

I must say that this car is FUN! I would have liked to spent more time driving it today, but the roads got kind of full, and I got wore out with all the stuff invloved in getting it! But, it was worth it in the end......

I was bashing the candy red when it first came out but after getting used to them around I have definitely warmed up to it, with the chamois that looks really classy. Very nice!

Under your photobucket pics there are three codes, the bottom one has the img tags on it, just click(it auto coppies), then just paste it in the post...It'll resize if you do it but be huge when I do it..

I've always used the photobucket ones as i hate the thumbnails from uploading. And yea it still looks like catchup, but in a good way

I stopped by Discount Tire and swapped out the stock tires/wheels first thing for Hot Wheels 68's with BFG KDWS tires in 255/50/R17. Here's a pic of that!

I like Candy Apple a lot better since I saw it in person yesterday.
It has a lot more metal flake than I saw in the pictures.

 

I love that interior color. When I finally get a custom interior, I may need to do something incorporating that color. It looks great with red.

 

I think my 08 fell in a hole.

I was planning on ordering an '08 with that paint / interior combo. Nice to see it all put together.

I appreciate the close-in shots with the paintjob. I have yet to see an 08 with DCAR in real-life yet. But, from your pics, I'm sure it will be even sweeter than I expected.
