Got The Call...It's Almost Here!
Thanks for posting the pics!! It turned out great! I like the interior and the welt around the doors looks good.
What do you think of the KDW2's (other than the shimmy over 50)? Is there a noticeable difference in handling, ride, or looks? I have read a few posts where they say they are noisier then the stock tire?

Be thankful, you received a gift from the heavens. Someone up there must like you. Notice I was careful on my wording of "someone" meaning "singular".
The interior came out better than Ford's version. I really like the red trim on the door panels and the seats came out terrific.
ENJOY!

More Pics...
Thanks for all the kind words, guys.
It really is an attention-getter. I have had one person from another vehicle yell "nice car" to me; a lady comment on how gorgeous the Redfire color is; and plenty of admiring glances. On the way home tonight, I also noticed a curious thing >> a couple of girls in a Sunfire racing up behind me to catch a glimpse of the car; and a bunch of other people seemingly wanting to "run with me" and driving a bit more aggressively than what I used to notice in my previous car - as if they want to test themselves against the Stang.
Of course, it could be in my imagination, too.
Had some time on the ferry this evening to grab a few more interior shots which better show the seats. One of the shots is a bit blurry, sorry.

As to handling - I didn't drive the car with the old tires in any sort of performance oriented way. But I CAN tell you that the car with the KDW NT tires goes around corners like it's on rails. I took a pronounced bend last night at 80 MPH and the car stuck like glue; no body roll even.
And they LOOK great!
Interesting that the ponys face diff directions. Do the others that have them do that?
They look great. I bet once they get some hot sun they will tighten up and look way better than stock.
Nice car.

Yes. Katzkin puts them on the kit automatically if the installer ticks "airbags" on the order form.

- The Katzkin kit default is ponies facing one another (so I gather that's the more popular choice).
- I requested them both galloping left (like the grille emblem).
- They came in facing one another (Katzkin error).
- They ordered another back panel for the passenger seat, but it came in with a slightly different grain texture and coloration.
- At that point, I had already begun to like the ponies facing one another, so I said, "frak it, let's just get the seats installed." So they used the original kit as it came in.
Thank you, sir.
