Good things, Bad things

Well, haven't had her a week and only drove her two days and got the first ding. Parking in the garage, I missed the yellow dummy pad on the floor and found out quickly that the 'stang has a long front hood and a bumper beyond that. Put two scratches in my bumper.
I'll get an estimate in a couple of days.
But, I got my AC ***** and door lock pins from MGW and my fog light "covers' from Rich Harmon. Everything went in real easy and looks great!

Sorry to hear about that Andy! I've been trying to practice not pulling forward very far in parking spots lately planning ahead when I get a body kit and lower my car. It definately can be hard to guage just how far forward you are with the new Mustang.

I don't expect delivery until February at the earliest but I am already devising a way to hang something from the ceiling in my parking garage so I know how far to pull forward.
Never fear - she will be as good as new!!!!!

My car is lowered and I found out that from the drivers seat if I can line up the top edge of a curb with the lower edge of my side view mirror, when pulling into a parking spot, that my bumper is about a foot away from the curb.
Of course this will all depend on how you sit in your drivers seat.
Best thing to do is find a reference point on your car that works for you and you'll never get curb rash again

Of the mods, not the damage

If you're going to drive it daily get used to dings and scratches you have no control over. There's a scrath on one of my side rocker panels from road debris. Also a very small chip on the fender, can barely see it but I know it's there, from road debris.

One of the last things I did with my '05 rental 'Stang was make measurements on the garage floor for parking stops.
I had the stops mounted on the floor before I went to the dealer to pick up my ordered 2006.

Hang a tennis ball on a rope from the cieling of the garage to where you want to stop. Make it ahng down to the level of the bumper. Ball moves you stop. I have that because my garage is tight and it works fine.

Hey there Andy. Sorry to hear about the scratches. I had the same thing happen to me not 36 hours after I got my 02.
I worked at a truckstop & some idot set a beer bottle down beside my car & then another idot ran over it & it poped the top into the side of my car causing a scratch & a dint. We never got it fixed & it ticked me off every time I looked at it. But a guy hit me & totaled it a year later. So.
I hope you get your fixed & maybe it won't be noticable after that. BTW How about posting some pictures of your car. I wanted to see the TG w/ LG int & noone seems to have that combo except you. Anyway. Good luck to you.

Here are a couple. I really like the interior. Love the black door inserts:
Here is the Harmon Show lens on my fogs:
You can see my scratch on the bumper, drivers side of center. They gave me an estimate of $433 to fix it
Here are my MGW A/C *****:
