Good Luck to All Waiting for a Mustang
I'm going to sign off this forum for a while. You'all are great and I've learned much following the threads. Since I just re-ordered a Mustang GT (our dream car) last week and I don't expect any news for a couple of months, I'm just driving myself nuts following the ups and downs of those folks waiting for news on their Mustang orders. (wondering how the news might or might not affect me).
I've got to resign myself to the fact that I'll either get an 05 Mustang or I won't, I can't do much about it at this point. I'm not willing to chase all over the country for the car I want or take delivery on something close -my choice, I know.
Good luck to all who are waiting and to those who have your new Ponies, enjoy!!!

Sorry to see you go for a while.
This is a great forum with much information. Without I would have never made through my 3 month wait.
I sure do hope you check back every once in a while and see what is new and developing for the 2005 mustang.
See you soon!

Good luck! Those of us waiting come here for signs of good fortune or, at least, some like-thinking folks with whom we can commiserate. I'm tired of waiting, but these forums keep me up on problems discovered about the car, fixes for said problems, and generally keep me up to date on information I should know. I hope you'll be back and someday, we can all gab about how much we love our new 'Stangs.
this site has become my security blanket. not sure I would make it alone out there. TMS has taken me in under its wing and assured me that everything is OK and that when my Black GT comes there will be a nice list of mods, already tested and installed by the 05 enthusiasts on the site.
He'll definately be back.
He'll definately be back.

Well I sort of think he has a good point. I kept calling and looking for updates on my car etc. I told myself that it would come when it comes, and they would call and tell me it was here. So I stopped making the daily calls etc. Then finally today the lady from kansas city calls and tells me its at the ramp. Should be unloaded tonite or tommorrow. So I should have it this week. In otherwords, just stopped thinking about it so much and then the call came.
I understand where he's coming from and I haven't even ordered yet!
Brad, it may be good to limit your access to the forums for a while, but it would be in your best interest to tune in at regular intervals. If for nothing else, just to keep up to date on issues that may affect your car. The collective experience of TMS members is better than the advice offered by most trade publications! Try to clear your head a little and find something else to occupy your time. I know it's hard, but it can be done.
Come back soon, Brad!

Leave TMS? Are you kidding? It's like smoking, but more informative and your teeth don't turn yellow. It should have a warning label, though. (Warning: This site can become habit forming and can result in eyestrain, back problems, and weight gain through inactivity. It is recommended that the addicted individual limit exposure and acquire fresh air on a daily basis.)
No05foryou? You're still listening, aren't you? Does this site loose some of its appeal once the car arrives, or does the addiction continue?

During my wait, I enjoyed reading the forum most of the time - ordered like the same day when i got home and the IUP mess just started up. Due to what I read, especially Karpo's commodity report, came within a week of when I guessed...
