None of the above. I wanted an '05, but couldn't place an order for one--in May! No orders accepted, so I waited until I could order an '06.

No regrets. Picked mine up Nov 26 and have 16000 fun-filled miles by this point. I really just couldn't stand the wait any longer.

I clicked on the satisified with my '05 GT option, but I'm also buying a Shelby, so obviously I want more power.

No regrets only waited 7 weeks - short wait compared to others.

Freaking cool. I must admit I'm jealous. I also need a 67GT and an 06 Shelby. Congrats Tonight, I am going straight home and going to speak to my Wife. NO MORE Mr. Nice Guy. I am going to tell her "get off your lazy bum and get a second full time job so I can get the upcoming Shelby! (I am so glad she doesn't read this forum ) Of course, I know where that will get me - to the couch, with no ___ for a month. You fill in the blank. Did I mention I don't think she reads this forum?

Not trying to be nosey but curious as heck. How does a young guy like yourself able to afford a '67 Shelby, an '05 'stang, and an '07 Shelby?

I can barely get the '07.

It's cool. I've been working since I was very young. I landed a very well paying job with Six Flags for awhile doing stunt work for the summer season and Fright Fest. After college, I've been doing online daytrading and have done well enough to buy the '05 and my own town house. I'm currently looking for a new house with at least a three-car garage.

The 1967 Shelby GT500 was passed down to me from the original owner - my father. It had sat our garage for many years and was in need of restoration. I did most of the work and my father passed it on to me.

My roommate has a 350z and has been trying to convince me to get one since the wait for my GT is killin me. My response is the same as always, "Why would I want to drive a civic with a body kit when I can wait a couple more months for near perfection." :headbang:

No problems w/ my 05, grinning from ear to ear everytime I drive it! Just the global open close pissed me off, but they didn't fix that for 06 anyway.

Had her since November (see sig) and I am...

Glad / Satisfied I bought the 05GT
I would have waited for the '06GT
I would have waited for the California Special
I would love to have the Shelby
Wish a Mach 1 or Boss is announced for sale

Maybe I need to start that day-trading stuff. I know someone else that has made out quite well from that.

This poll is pretty much for people who already own the '05.

What about people like me who are holding out for the Shelby?

Even though it isn't exactly correct, you should vote "going to wait for mach 1 or special edition" catagory.
