Just had Brian and Andreas from Redline install gas hood lifts on my Stang. Will post pics later today!

Redline will have kit available shortly-install will be relatively easy-with excellent install manual.

Email Brian at brian@redlinetuning.com for more details.

I always wanted to ask for them in a new thread,
I feel angry when I see that the car I am in love with doesn't have some essential things that even a Czech Skoda has...

I checked them out. They are taking orders, and have a 4 page installation instruction guide on line. Seems easy to install.

I think it was $60 for the basic and $110 for the Elite plus shipping.

I got mine the other day. I also got some touch-up paint from the dealer (since I did nto get a free tube with the survey). I painted the silver clips.

I was nervous drilling into my baby, but it was no problem. Pop the hood and lift it a little, and the shocks take over and lift it the rest of the way.

You will need to re-route the washer fluid hose. But that only takes one additional hole to drill.

The hood opens to the same height as with the prop rod. They tell you to remove the prop rod before installing the shocks, and have someone hold the hood.

At the time I did it by myself, so I left the prop rod up, holding the hood. If you do this, install the driver side first. Before you clip both parts of the passenger shock on, unhook the prop rod from the hood. Otherwise, you will not be able to lift the hood enough to take the prop rod out.
