Dark Highland Green, Burgundy or a Navy Blue would suit me just fine.

I would like to see FORD offer 3 Legends colors a year (2 offered across the Mustang line and 1 only avail on an SE)
That way people would have somethng fresh/heritage each new model year, and let the people vote for it on FORD's website (with photoshops of what the Mustang would look like in that particular color scheme, as some favorite colors just might not look like we think)
and as far as my votes go:
Dark Highland Green (SE offering only)
Copper/Burnt Orange
Merlot/Burgandy
Navy Blue
if any FORD guys are reading this, print this out and take it along to one of your Brainstorm sessions (the people voting are the same people who love this car, and have kept it alive for so-o many years, remember the Probe letters?)
Roger & out...

each SE should come back with colors that were offered back in the day. its a good idea to have people vote
but there are some SE's that should be released with a color with out having to vote. for example if there is a Bullitt, there must be a Dark Highland Green.
if they bring out a Boss variant, i would like to see it offered in all the colors that were offered for it back in 69-71 :P

I can't believe they even offered the last one in blue and black...bad FORD :nono:
All BOSS cars should have the Grabber colors...agreed
Maybe I or Brad can create a poll for this idea (Legends color voting), but I'm going to have to do some research and collect ALL the old colors :geek:
Collect the top 15 voted colors (that would give it a run for the next 5 years @ 3 colors/year, top 6 from the 60's, top 5 from the 70's, top 2 from the 80's and 90's)...any input or further suggestions?

I'd like to see Midnight Blue Metallic. ... that's the color that my '88 was painted in. It was almost like a Mystique color because it would change from blue to a deep purple to a deep teal. The closest I can find to show you is in one of the photochops.....

Do you mean something like the 2004 MystiChrome Cobra?

The metallic orange color went by a few different names. Autumn Orange Metallic, Bright Amber Metallic and I think there was a third but I can't remember it right now. In any case, the color code is "BG" and that's what I'll be painting my '85 GT

the mystichrome is too light. when I first got my '88, I didn't know crap about cars... I'd just graduated from highshool, and I bought it used, and I'm sure it wasn't the origional color. under the carpets in the trunk and behind door panels was a slightly different shade of blue, but... I don't know. I had a lot of old timers tell me that that exact color was an old Ford color, but I couldn't duplicate it when I bought paint to re-due it after I pin stripped it going under a chain link fence. The color was identicle to the one in the above chop, but at the different angles, it didn't change colors anymore. regaurdless, I still think it's a great shade of blue.

Yes definitely, but then again, maybe a TEENY bit darker. And not as reflective. I'd also love to see Bright Atlantic Blue back. Tried to find the chop of one I did awhile back but uh, no luck.
