I guess no one has actually received their car yet-no pics posted in the topic "Photos of yours."

They know we want the cars and are going to buy them, so they figure "hey, we already hooked these guys, lets convince OTHERS to buy the car aswell!"

Ford is probably trying to get some on the lots before the dealership let the owners drive them off. That way when people see someone driving around in the new stang they'll have plenty on the lots to sell to the people who drive up and say, 'I just saw a new stang and I must have one'.

Just wait about 2 weeks and watch the pics start showing up - and between now and Christmas this place is going to be one major jumping banana!

I was just at the local gas station filling up my Taurus when what pulls up next to me? A torch red '05 V6. I asked the guy if it was his (not noticing or even paying attention to the dealer plate) and he said "No, we just got it in and I came out to gas it up." Unfortunately my cell (with camera) was accidentally left at work. It's okay, the pics would have looked like crap anyway. See what I mean? BTW, that's a line of about twenty 04s left at the local dealer. (different one)

Looks like they ordered too many Red ones.....

It is almost tempting to go buy a 2004 at DIRT CHEAP prices when I get home in December. Maybe if I find a really nice Mach sitting on a lot I'll get my wife a Christmas present that I can enjoy too!

It’s to the point I’m getting the G*D* thing just on principles.
...and maybe embarassment.

I’ll have fun every day shoveling snow out to my garage, opening the garage door and looking at my shiny black 2005 GT. Yah Hoo.

(This is merely speculation .. ) Ford likely hires indepenent companies to ship the cars to the dealers. My family has had cars shipped to our home before, and each shipping company always waits for a full load. I'm guessing that it just depends on how many cars the dealership placed on order, for the large part.
