I get a kick out of the occasional threads where someone identifies the latest and greatest POS accessory being sold on eBay. So I thought it would be fun to make it a challenge. Here are the rules:

1. The challenge is to find the tackiest, fugliest, riceiest, or otherwise most lame piece of junk 2005 Mustang Accessory being sold on eBay. Auction can be current or already ended.

2. Post as often as you want.

3. Include a link to the auction. A photo here too is optimal, but optional.

4. Bonus points if anyone actually bought the stinker.

5. If this works, maybe later we'll start a poll to determine just which item is absolutely the most disgusting thing available. In that case, the winner gets.... the right to be the first to purchase it!

Since its my game, I'll start. BTW, saw this posted on another forum, just cracked me up.

want to get some clarification, this is for looks? or are performance mods included? and is it just the end results or the means of accomplishing them (ie. chrome taillight bezel, good idea, but cheesey way of getting them done is the chrome wheelwell trim)?

I know some people like these but this has got to be the ultimate in Rice, definately by the book definition, being something that belongs on another car (lambo) and putting it on a car that has no place having them, and it looks stupid

Just keep in mind, some people find louvers, hood scoops, the "Eleanor kit of the day", metal grilles, or sticking Cobra emblems on a V6...tacky. Taste is hard to judge.

Oh, man. You guys are killing me...

- The "simulated louvres" - (BONUS POINTS - 1 bid. $31. WTF?!?!?! :nono

- Lambo doors - Only $3,000!! . . .

- Chrome light trim - I agree, :notnice:

- Chrome tips - anh. If you want a quick and simple way to make the stock exhaust look better, adding tips is fine with me.

Good job, guys! Keep 'em coming. What do you think of the gold pony? I'm thinking about getting it to match my teeth.

The Accelerator

"More Horepower"

"Faster Acceleration" (naturally)

"More Torque"

"Improves Shifting"

"Better Towing!"

"How it works!

All vehicles are governed by the manufacturer to meet regulations set out by the Damned Government. So, with that being said, here's what the Accelerator does! It REMOVES the RESTRICTIONS , by sending a new signal to your vehicle's ECU (the computer control module in your vehicle), adjusting your air/fuel ratio to run @ peek performance, adding more Horsepower & Torque. The Accelerator increases your engine's performance without sacrificing reliability, and adds longevity to your engine. When a vehicle is governed, in short, it is like having to breathe through a cloth, only leaving your vehicle carboned up. Thus the need for tune-ups on your vehicle. Now, by removing the cloth from your engine, it allows it to breathe. And we all know that when we breathe without restrictions, its healthier. The same goes for your engine. We conducted our own research, asking several manufacturers this Question: If there were no restrictions imposed by the government, would the warranty life of the engine increase or decrease? They all answered: INCREASED ENGINE LIFE. With the Accelerator, you will see vast improvements in emissions and less carbon deposits, with Horsepower and Torque added to your engine. No more need to put the pedal to the floor to pass that slow driver in front of you. No more getting laughed at by your buddies because you couldn't keep up to the Gremlin that just blew by you. No more getting the finger because you had to slow up traffic pulling your trailer up a hill (a bad start to a nice camping trip). Your throttle response will be increased dramatically. It's like having a new engine!"

Priceless... funny thing is its just a box.
