I had them when going to certain pumps. Now, I go to the Chevron by my house only and have no problems there. It depends on the pump. My advice is find a gas station that you can pump at without it stopping on you (until full) and stick with that one.

This won't have anything to do with mileage. It just depends on the type of pump at the gas station(s) you go to. Certain ones (I believe the ones w/out springs on the nozzles) will constantly stop because it thinks the tank is full. Some have said you can turn the pump handle 180 degrees and this stops. I found at the few staions I went to and had problems that turning it 137.5 degrees exactly was the only way to make it keep pumping ( ). If anyone is having a lot of trouble no matter what pump, bring it into Ford. They know about this problem now and I'm sure can fix it.

I am one that has problems at all different pumps, but its not a 100% thing. About 1 out of 4 fills it will be fine. Dont know if its coincedence or not, but my husband has better luck than I do!

I've only filled it up once since I got it and it took forever. That was more time for people to hang out and drool over my car though. I took it into the Ford dealership today w/ a copy of the TSB and hopefully they replace the fuel tank. I also told them I wanted the window global open/close problem fixed.

Mine has problems, but only on certain pumps. About a week ago I got too frustrated with trying to get it to pump, and I just decided to leave. But I normally use a different pump (at the same station) and it always works fine.

There is a thing called search at the top of your screen. Use it.

After an endless fueling last week and more gas on me and the ground than in the car (which was lovely since a few people were around asking me about the Mustang) I called our service department to get the fix done. The service manager didn't know about the TSB and so I gave him the information. He said he'd have to order a new tank for the car and promptly hung up without telling me when I could expect to be called. Then three days later he called to ask what was going on with the car, he'd forgotten what we'd talked about but knew there was something going on with the car. LOVE my local Ford service department.

And why, pray tell, must I use search?
And why must you be trying to cause trouble?
Geez people have sticks up their butts today!

The only problem I have had is all the gas goes on the ground. Hmmmm, maybe if I had my car that would fix the problem?

Sorry, had to say it. :P
