I have had my car since December of 2004. Not too many mods or anything since it's my daily driver but I feel it looks good for what I spent on my mods and the look I was going for. The color combo was inspired by the Corvette Gran Sport. (blue, white stripe, black wheels with silver lip). First I got the stripes put on for about $500.00. Then I lowered the car with Eibach Sport Line springs. For exhaust, I unbolted the stock mufflers and ran straight pipes with exhaust clamps, so I can install my stock muffs if needed. Next I painted my stock wheels (black wheel paint from Auto Zone and sanding down paint area with 1000 grit), wile leaving the lip silver. I also removed the lower bumper grill for better air flow and painted the A/C condensor with high temp aluminum spray paint. Also, relocated the horns for better air flow to the radiator. I played around with the stereo a little and had an 18" sub I custom built for my car but went with a few 12's after blowing two 18's in a 4 months time (Don't buy Pyle speakers). The 18" was a show stopper but didn't last. Now I am hitting 133dB with my two 12" Sony Xplods while maintaining a stock stereo look. Oh well.... enjoy
lol, thanks. The 18" sub is gone now. It did hit some of the lowest bass I have ever felt (because you couldn't hear it, just feel it), but it's good having the room once again. One cool thing is, the box/sub only weighed about 85lbs so it wasn't too much weight. My two 12's and boxes weigh about 110lbs total but easy to remove for track days.
