Doesn't look shiny enough to be polished to me. Looks more like the painted Arget (could just be the pic though).

I would like to see the new 18" wheels in person (when they're available). Do ford dealers usually have optional wheels in stock or on display?

Hmmm.... it says the Marauder style are forged -- any truth to that? How much do they weigh?

I am personally glad to see any option other than the seen-everywhere Bullits (even though they do look good). I will have to wait to see the new style in person to judge whether or not I really like it though.

Also, I wish all stock Mustangs were lowered like the one in the pic. Even Ford recognizes the car should be lowered to sell accessories, so why isn't it like that stock???
Kinda reminds me of all the publicity shots of the stangs with NO antenna.Talk about realizing!!

I have a question that may be silly, but are these all aftermarket rims or can they be ordered with your car? Right now I have stock rims and I am curious what kind of flexibility I have here.
I have a 2005 Accessories catalog, and certain items, like the wheel are asterisked as items tha can be included and depreciated on a lease. If you wanted them on car, I am sure you could negotiate with the dealer. A customer who bought a Mustang from the dealership I bought mine from wanted pony emblems on her red V6 convertible, and they ordered them and put them on the car.

I like those black 18" bullitts. The marauders don't do anything for me, and being only 18x8, you're probably stuck with P235 series tires? I'm not sure if P255's would be too wide for an 8-inch rim.

I just wish those black bullitts were 18x9's... I also think they'd look great with chrome spinners, as Kyle mentioned before.
These should serve you well and your spinners come from http://www.brsparts.com/

would this be the 18" polished aluminum wheel?
They look polished to me. If they were painted, they wouldn't have the shine to them. Those wheels look great. I can't wait to see them on someone's car to be sure.

The Mustang/Marauder Wheel is a forged aluminum wheel made by Alcoa at their Lebanon, Virginia Plant.
Wheel Weight(kg): 10.7140
I just weighed the wheel in my office, and it weighed between 21-23lbs. My scale might be off a pound or two.

We polished this same wheel for Alcoa, when it went on the Marauder. If Alcoa likes our new price, we will be polishing it for the Mustang.

Just last week, the 18 inch Fanblades rolled into my shop( 2 - 4 pieces). I guess we might be polishing them in the future. I believe they are being done in Canada right now.

I'm really liking the 18 x 8 Forged aluminum 5 spokes. They remind me slightly of the Mach 1 wheels.

Does this mean that they won't be available for a while?

Anyone know what tire sizes will work on the 18 x 8.5 wheel, so the speedo will still be in calibration?

255 45 R18's work just fine. Speedo is the same (0.4% difference).
