Ford Racing intake manifold is finally out!

Ford Racing has finally released their 3v intake manifold, it is 600 bucks MSRP. I have heard that they will begin shipping them out at the end of March, and JDM is selling them on for pre-order on s197forum for 550 bucks. http://s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28180

This is the link to it on FRPP:

Thanks moderators for moving my thread to a higher traffic forum section

I think someone should send me one for some "high altitude, low modification level" dyno numbers.

Not available until May. Knowing Ford Racing when May rolls around it won't be available until August. It took C&L forever to release their's and then they had an updated version right after that.

I'd be interested to see what this will do for a stock mustang. I would imagine it's pretty similar to C&L in the sense that it's really best for highly modified NA engines.

Very true about C&L, and where did you hear May for the FRPP?

I would be surprised if it brought ANY benefits over the stock one on a stock car. Just like C&L, this is meant for highly modified NA motors or FI motors.

You had your generation! Let us have our turn, then we can all be sad when the 5.0 starts getting all the goodies.

I used to feel that way when I owned my '03 Mach 1. So, I sold it in the fall of 2006 and bought my '07 GT. Limited run models don't get as much aftermarket support since there are fewer potential sales for those would-be vendors.
