I ordered 10/21 and I have heard nothing from my dealer.

Porkster I notice you have IUP and I think IUP orders are going to be held up.

Dealer called today (Wednesday) and said my car was "bucked" this morning! He said it would be made today and tomorrow.

Its been a long wait - since July - but the car should be at Rick Ford in Hemlock, Michigan the middle of next week, John Rick said today.

Ordered Satin Silver GT with dark charcoal leather, automatic, spoiler, IUP, upgrade wheels, Shaker 500 radio.

I'm in the same boat as you. Ordered on 10/19, as of Monday still clean/unscheduled. On top of that it snowed about 6" in K.C. last night.

Does anybody know for sure whether priority 1 or 10 is more important. I'm just trying to figure out which way the rungs on the ladder go....

For next weeks scheduling, this is the commodities update:

2005 Mustang

Exterior Sport Package 13%

Interior Upgrade Package 17%

4.6L 3V OHC w/Automatic 7%

4.0L 3V OHC w/manual 24%

Interior Sport Appear. Pkg 48%

As you can see, there isn't technically a hold on the IUP but there aren't many available.

I understand it to be the lower the priority number, the higher the priority. ie, 1 is better than 10; 10 is better than 20. My dealer said 10 was the highest he can enter for a retail order, but that is higher than inventory orders.

10 is the best priority a dealer can issue. 1-9 are reserved for factory use, very rarely see these used.

Paul....I am looking at my order print out from my salesmanager, and on the back page right next to the words 'priced DORA' it says code 09. Maybe I'm just reading this wrong, and this doesn't mean priority #? This is the only place on the whole order form that even resembles what I would take to be a priority #.

No hold that I can see on the IUP. I have one being built on the 6th of December with a 29 Oct order date (That puts the build at the 6 week mark, anticipating delivery at the 8 week mark?)

That is the order confirmation, not the DORA. On the DORA it is near the top, on the right just under the date.

With 7% for 4.6V Automatic, does that mean there is a bigger shortage of automatic tranmissions gor GT's?

I believe what you are seeing is the option code C09, which is the order code for the actual priced DORA. This is what tell Ford's system to print a priced DORA the next morning. As for the priority, it should read PRIORITY: and then your number.
