came across site while doing a search for 06 color "vista blue"...would anyone happen to know if this is a past ford color? and if so a pic would be great (i cant find anywhere)

 

There were 31 different colors offered from 1999-2004, so I'm sure what you want will be available soon.

It seams to me that Ford offers more colors and optional stuff than most of the other car manufacturers out there.

What burns my hiney, is the lack of a dark green. All I've ever owned are dark green mustangs. Now, I have to go with black, I guess.

we can only hope Kevin.... my first Mustang was midnight blue.... and the more I think about it.... the more I miss it. I was set on mineral grey, but I'm not liking how stripes look on that color..... at least the obvious basic colors.... black, sliver or white. So.... yeah... I hope it's a midnight blue.

I wonder if there's a way we can lobby Ford for that color. I'm sure there would be all colors of the rainbow listed in petitions, but.. perhaps there's someone who might be a little bias in favor of midnight blue that has some pull.

I had a 89 vert in a "Midnight Blue" and I agree It was a beautiful color. Vista "sounds" like a lighter color to me but I have no idea really. It will be interesting to see the colors as they come out.

I thought I read somewhere that Highland Green was going to be a 06 color?

 

I'm sure they have a group of marketers working on paint colors each year. Like Brad said, just wait and you'll find something you'll like. Check out the 2006 colors in the timeline. There will be several new ones next year.

Using the same sales to colors ratio, Ford should be offering ONLY 5 colors for 2005.

BE THANKFUL FOR THE 10 COLORS THAT WE HAVE ON THE 2005 MUSTANG ! ! :worship:

 

I personally would like to see them add a darker Blue, an Orange-Red color (Clypso Corral-like), Dark Shadow Grey, and a dark Green for '06. I'd also like to see Ford add Magnum 500-style wheels and a ducktail spoiler as options. That's all I can think of that wouldn't probably require making a Special Edition.

Yeah, but...

There were 17 colors in ONE year of '64. Not really that fair a comparison, ya know.

At that rate, anyway, I'd have to wait, what up to 6 years before a color I like, say oh...

...or something close would show up on the new style? And that only in that year, like '96's Autumn Orange?
